About SEO Tools Centre: Who We Are and How We Work

05/06/2017 6:06 AM

SEO Tools Centre is a free collection of 120 online tools for writing, search engine optimisation and running a website. You can paraphrase and proofread text, research keywords, check how a page appears in Google and AI search, test a site's speed and convert PDF and image files, all without signing up.

Who runs SEO Tools Centre

SEO Tools Centre is run by Ahmad Shahzad Sanmal, an SEO specialist who provides off-page SEO and link-building services to clients through his Legiit profile. He looks after the tools, the guides and the site's day-to-day running. SEO Tools Centre has been online since 2016 and is maintained independently.

Why we built it

Most SEO and writing tasks need a quick, single-purpose tool: count the words in an essay, check a meta description, merge two PDFs, see whether a page is blocked from AI search. Many sites that offer these tools hide them behind sign-ups, limits or cluttered pages. SEO Tools Centre keeps them free, fast and in one place, with a plain guide on every page.

How we build and test the tools

  • Your data stays with you where possible. Many tools, including the PDF, image and most text tools, run entirely in your browser, so your files never reach our server. Files that do need uploading are deleted within 24 hours.
  • Every tool is tested. We check the tools regularly with real inputs. When a tool depends on an outside data source that stops working, we say so on the page rather than showing made-up results.
  • Guides are written for people. Each tool page explains what the tool does and how to use it, step by step, with screenshots. Technical advice follows the official documentation from Google Search Central and the other platforms involved.
  • Pages show when they were last updated. The date at the end of each guide changes whenever the page changes.

How the site is funded

SEO Tools Centre is free to use and is supported by advertising. Ads never change a tool's results. You can read how we handle data and cookies in our Privacy Policy.
